The 19th Marrakech International Film Festival will honor Bollywood star Ranveer Singh with the Etoile d’Or this year.
The festival will honor Ranveer Singh with the title that has previously gone to actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Aamir Khan as a way of paying gratitude to him.
In keeping with the festival’s tradition of recognizing cinema in all its diversity, this honor will also be given to Tilda Swinton, James Gray, Farida Benlyazid, a pioneering Moroccan filmmaker, and Ranveer Singh.
This year, the Marrakech Film Festival will honor artists from four continents by awarding the Étoile d’Or, or Golden Star, to Scottish actor Tilda Swinton, American director James Gray, Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh, and pioneering Moroccan filmmaker Farida Benlyazid for their contributions to cinema.
Ranveer Singh’s fame has beyond national lines, and he is now well-known abroad. A rumor is circulating that he may receive the Étoile d’Or shortly at the 19th Marrakech International Film Festival.
The dates for it are November 11 to November 19. The Gully Boy actor is not the first to get the honor. It should be noted. Previous recipients of this honor include Bollywood stars Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Aamir Khan.
Ranveer’s Views
According to News18, the Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani actor expressed his gratitude and humility for the honor. He continued, bowing his head and folding his hands, and said:

It will be thrilling for me to be honored in Morocco this year in the presence of admirers of international cinema and the respected festival jury members. I appreciate being honored by the Marrakech International Film Festival Foundation“
Along with Ranveer, other honor recipients include Moroccan film pioneer and director Farida Benlyazid. Scottish actor Tilda Swinton, and well-known American director James Gray and Tilda Swinton. With moving performances in films like “Band Baaja Baarat,” “Ram Leela,” “Bajirao Mastani,” “Padmaavat,” and “Gully Boy.” Singh has garnered international acclaim in the twelve years of his acting career.
Because of his roles in films like Band Baaja Baarat, Ram Leela, Bajirao Mastani, Padmaavat, and Gully Boy during the past 12 years. Ranveer has established himself as one of the most admired performers in Hindi cinema.
